United Cash Register is for Sale

I am looking to find someone to take control over United Cash Register & Computer Company. We are a "C" corporation and want to do a stock transfer with a publicly traded company that has headquarters in the United States.

UNITED is our trademark name on a Cash Register / Point of Sale Computer Terminal. Many years ago, we took an electronic cash register made by companies such as Sharp, Casio, Panasonic, CRS and others and modified them so that we could sell them under our UNITED name and model numnber. When we did this, it gave our competition many problems as to what company made our electronic cash register.

We had problems with the yellow pages when a customer decided on a certain make and model and would call the other dealers in the phone book to see if they could get a lower price. This was hurting my sales department; we had many small cash register companies that sold and services these machines but didn't have a sales force. That is when United Cash Register started ot modify the machines because we couldn't afford to manufacture our own machine. This change in marketing saved us a large amount of money.

United Cash Register never used the yellow pages to build our customer base. We only had an in column display and paid extra to have United Cash Register in bold print so it was easy to see.

United Cash Register started a direct mail program to customers saying that we could help solve employee theft. Our direct mail program was directed at business owners that had 3 to 10 locations. Many were franchise operators in the fast food business. United also built a customer base of grocery, liquor, and drug stores that helped us expand in Illinois and Indiana.

United Cash Register had to change direction a number of times from when we started to sell used National Cash Registers and serviced and rebuilt them. National Cash Register charged very high prices and we were able to underprice NCR and did very good work because some independent dealers were former employees of National Cash Register. This was the start of competition that caused many problems for NCR because they didn't change with the times.

If you are a publicly traded company and can write software in assembly language or are involved in AI, I have some idea to take the UNITED trademark name worldwide and I think we can take some business away from some of the very large worldwide companies.
